Brightening One Corner Research Institute

This institute aims at investigating the philosophical foundations of the "Brightening One Corner" movement and develops practical morals and ethics for contemporary society. It also trains people to "brighten their corners," which means carrying out their own particular role in their own particular situation. The dictum "Brightening One Corner" signifies an optimistic perspective of the world and humanity, a belief that a society or a nation can reach a desirable status only if all the members of the society do their best without diverting their attention and social resources to any other areas, thus focusing on performing their duties and roles in any given circumstance while realizing their own identities. Therefore, all members of the movement are encouraged to practice this creed in their own corners and to spread it throughout society and the world by their exemplary acts and deeds. To achieve this goal, the institute has projects such as making theoretical studies of the "Brightening One Corner" creed, holding seminars and spreading known cases of "Brightening One Corner."
