his center endeavors to meet both the practical and the academic needs of Korean churches. Practically, the church faces many social and pastoral problems which should be theologically resolved for desirable church growth. Diverse theological thought in Korean churches should be assessed with sound theological criteria. To meet these needs, the activities of the center includes: conducting research on current theological and pastoral issues and presenting the results collected, publishing findings of theological research, developing continuing-education seminars and workshops for pastors, and offering various educational programs for the laity.
